When to Quit

When to Walk Away. . .

There are times when we all need to walk away, take a time out and then return refreshed with an open mind and clear conscience. There are also times we need to quit, walk away and not return. Knowing the difference is what maturity and knowing one’s self is all about.

“You have to know when to hold them, know when to fold the, know when to walk away, know when to run.” (The Gambler)

Knowing when to walk away:

Differences of opinions get heated and more frequent

         Loud/raised voices are common

         Harsh language

Focus is on the individual and not the topic at hand

         Inability to reach a conclusion

         Not defining the real cause.

Know when to quit.

         No trust

         No support or respect

         No involvement

         No communication

         No accountability

No ability to build the relationship
